Refund Policy

This policy is a starting draft for attorney review. It is NOT legal advice and does NOT bind RapidThumbnails until reviewed, edited, and approved by qualified counsel licensed in the operating jurisdiction. Do not rely on this document as currently written.

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for RapidThumbnails subscriptions and credit purchases. It is part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service.

1. Subscription Plans

1.1 Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable once the cycle has begun, unless required by law (see Section 4). You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle, and you retain access through that date.

1.2 Annual subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rated refund of unused months within the first 30 days of the subscription term. After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but may be canceled to prevent renewal.

2. Credit Purchases

Top-up credit packs are non-refundable once purchased. Unused credits do not expire and remain on your account.

Subscription credits (those granted by your monthly plan) are not refundable as individual credits, and unused subscription credits roll over only as described on our pricing page.

3. Failed Generations

Credits charged for a generation that fails due to a service outage on our side, or due to an upstream provider failure that prevents output delivery, will be refunded to your account balance automatically. The Service includes retry logic for transient errors, and credits are only charged on successful delivery.

Credits are not refundable for outputs that you find unsatisfying, outputs that do not match a subjective expectation, or outputs that contain artifacts common to AI generation. Review the sample gallery and free-trial outputs before purchasing a subscription.

4. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable right you have under applicable consumer-protection law, including but not limited to:

  • European Union and UK consumers:the 14-day "cooling off" right under the Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. By agreeing to begin generating content immediately, you may waive the cooling-off right for that content, as permitted by Article 16(m).
  • Australian consumers: the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • US consumers: any applicable state-law refund rights.

5. How to Request a Refund

Send refund requests to billing@rapidthumbnails.com with your account email, the invoice number, and a brief description of the request. We will respond within 5 business days.

6. Stripe Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or card network without first contacting us, your account may be suspended pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us first; most refund eligibility decisions can be resolved the same day.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
